We are open at weekends, every day over Bank Holiday weekends and on a number of Wednesdays during school holidays and in the summer months.
The Dartmoor Scene and The Vale Scene operate trains on all days but Madder Valley only runs on a limited number of days – see below for dates.

Admission times
- Weekends and some summer Wednesdays – from 14:00 to 16:45 closing at 17:30. These dates are in red on the calendar.
- Bank Holiday weekends, some Wednesdays and when we have special events – from 11:00 to 16:45, closing at 17:30. These are in green on the Calendar.
Madder Valley Railway
Dates on which Madder Valley Railway is running this year are:
Sunday, 16th June
Sunday 22nd September
Saturday 9th November.
We open at 11:00 on all Madder Valley running days.
Notes
No dogs are allowed in the museum.
Pendon has a small car park that is sufficient at most times. If you do find that you need to park on the public road please do so with consideration to our neighbours and the village.
We are pleased to make special arrangements for visits by any association, club, educational or youth group. Details can be found under group visits.
The Museum is closed from the end of 25th November until 29th December when we re-open.
